Behind the coveted Kosher Certificate of Badatz Maor Hakashrus is the constant supervision of Rabbi Shereshevsky; the vast halachic knowledge pertaining to all realms of kashrus of Hagaon Harav Yisrael Goelman, Rav of Kehillas Shaarei Tevunah in Ramot; and the international expertise of Hagaon Harav Yisrael Meir Levinger regarding shechitah and kosher fish and poultry.

Receiving a Kosher Certificate by Badatz Maor Hakashrus is a multi-staged process that encompasses a preliminary meeting with the business owners and frequent inspections of the ingredients and production line in order to verify their kosher status.  For products that are complex from a kashrus perspective, Badatz Maor Hakashrus dispatches a certified senior representative to the site in order to oversee and carefully supervise the production process.  After conducting a comprehensive and scrutinous inspection of the plant and approving its kosher status, the Vaad Hakashrus will then issue a general Kosher Certificate that encompasses all company products.  Complex products may require and receive separate Kosher Certificates.

Transparency & Cooperation

Badatz Maor Hakashrus prides ourselves on working in full cooperation and transparency with our client—the business/factory owner—in order to implement the koshering and supervisory processes as smoothly and favorably as possible for all parties.  In circumstances when it is superfluous or unfeasible to coordinate round-the-clock regulation, we require that the company notify us immediately of any change in ingredient or kosher crisis that arises.  If a kosher problem arises, the Vaad Hakashrus will dispatch a team of mashgichim to the facility as swiftly as possible in order to kosher the facility and render it usable again.  Similarly, we request that you, as our valued clients, do your utmost to keep us informed and cooperate with us for your own benefit.
